Our Camp Sites

When the camp was first established in the early 1970s, each group in the Otway Plains District had its own campsite in the bush. While many of these groups have since merged with others or closed down, their campsites still remain. Today only 5 out of the 8 orginal campsites are still suitable for use. The groups campsites that are no longer been used are; 1st Colac & 2nd Colac.

Our Buildings

Gavens Hut

This former Colac Cricket Pavilion is now used as the main hut at Patanga Park. Although small, it provides the necessary space. It includes an extended dining area with a modern kitchen and an open fireplace for heating.

Chapel

A chapel nestled in natural bushland perfect for running Scouts' Own or simply as a quiet place to sit.

Fire Pit

The large outdoor fire pit, surrounded by bench seating, is perfect for roasting marshmallows or cooking whatever you like.
